KneeFit Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

KneeFit: Knee Strength Plan ("KneeFit", "the app") is made by S.Z. Code Axol Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: we keep a copy of your onboarding answers, without your name, to understand how people use KneeFit and to improve the program. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your health information for advertising. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Your onboarding answers

When you set up KneeFit you answer questions about your knee: which knee, where and how it bothers you, how strong the pain is, symptoms, triggers, how it started, anything a doctor told you, the safety check, everyday activities, goals, age range, activity level, daily minutes and reminder time. The app also works out a knee pattern and a starting level from them.

The app sends a copy of these answers to our database on Google Cloud Firestore (a Google service, stored in the United States). The copy does not include your first name, is not linked to your email or Apple ID, and is stored under a random ID created on your iPhone, together with the app version and the anonymous subscription ID described below. We use it only to understand who KneeFit helps and to improve the exercise program. It is never used for advertising, never sold and never shared with advertisers.

Because the copy is not linked to your identity, we usually can't tell which record is yours. If you want your record deleted, email qa@codeaxolot.com with roughly when you set up the app and we'll help as far as we can.

What stays on your device

These are stored only on your iPhone and deleted when you delete the app. The app doesn't require an account.

Apple Health

If you turn on "Save sessions to Apple Health" in Settings, the app saves each finished session to Apple Health as a workout, and can read those workouts back. Health information is used only to provide this feature. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, never shared with third parties, and never stored in iCloud by the app. You can turn this off anytime in the app or in the Health app.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history and basic device information needed to validate purchases. It does not receive your onboarding answers or health information; we store its anonymous ID next to your answers so we can see which answers led to a subscription. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules daily reminders on your device. No reminder data is sent to us.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to count how people move through the app (for example: onboarding steps reached, paywall shown, trial started, sessions finished). These events do not include your answers about your knee or any health information, and the app does not use your device's advertising identifier. We may use trial and purchase counts to measure our own ads on Google. We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to receive crash and error reports (device model, iOS version, what the app was doing when it crashed). They do not include your answers or your name. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. See Google's privacy policy.

Children

KneeFit is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

Not medical advice

KneeFit is an exercise program to strengthen and support your knees. It does not diagnose, treat or replace care from a doctor or physiotherapist. If anything worries you, please see a doctor.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
